There is a tendency in the post – modern art to synthesize different kinds of art. Photopainting is a striking example of the interplay of traditional art forms such as painting and photography. An innovative approach to stylistic issues of contemporary art illustrates the transformation of the centuries – old foundations of aesthetic perception of reality in a completely new art form interpreting the artistic idea and the image as a whole.
