Many types of human activity proceeding in extreme conditions, show increased requirements to mental possibilities of the person. Therefore the problem of increase of mental stability of the person and maintenance of stability of activity in these conditions is very meaningful for increase of efficiency of the most various activities. Important value possess a solution this problem and for the sportsman which activity often proceeds in extreme conditions.
In this context it is necessary to develop self-control at sportsmen which is a component of their psychological preparation. The оbjective of self-control – the regular training which has been directed on progress of functions of a brain, capacity adequately to estimate the emotional condition, the actions and to adjust them. In article results of research to shaping are presented to self-control at athletes of 12-13 years of children´s sports schools №4 in Murmansk.
