The article considers the peculiarities of Internet advertising in tourism, since the Internet now is a means of effective advertisement. Peculiarity of advertising on the Internet is a two-tier approach. Informative Internet advertising (sites of travel agencies) represents the upper level, such advertising must meet potential clients. The accuracy of the information on the website is an important aspect of this type of advertising. The content of Internet advertising can be useful for consumers who have already made their choice and are ready to conclude the contract. The main elements of Internet advertising lower level (outdoor advertising) are banners and text blocks. Banners are a great means of submission of advertising and text blocks in a greater degree are trusted by consumers, because they are less likely to be associated with advertising. Banners and text blocks can be used as a tool of competition, as many unscrupulous rivals can reduce your advertising budget of a competitor by clicking on other people´s ads. On the lower level of Internet advertising pay attention to consumers who are interested in a careful search for the necessary services.
