Research activity is presented in the form of educational research activity and scientifically research activity. Functions of engineering thinking in the course of implementation of research activity peculiar to the youthful period are allocated. Methods of the organization of a situation or condition promoting formation of engineering thinking in the conditions of scientifically research activity are offered. The allocated requirements to methods of the organization of a situation and the conditions promoting formation of engineering thinking.
