CONDITION OF HOTEL BUSINESS OF KAZAN AFTER CARRYING OUT UNIVERSIAD-2013

Development of the sphere of tourism leads to development of the hotel industry which in turn has considerable impact on host country or region economy. The expenses of foreign tourists being in relation to the host country, so-called, «invisible export», also are a powerful source of currency receipts. The world summer University games-2013 are a project which opened new perspective possibilities of development of the region and Russia as a whole. First of all, carrying out University games affected tourist appeal of Kazan and Tatarstan. The capital of University games 2013 was visited by more than 150 thousand people. For visitors on Games about 50 various means of placement were involved. In total about 12 000 people were placed. Today in Kazan there are 117 hotels.
