This article is devoted to systematization and removal of loopholes of previous legislation of the Russian Federation about volunteerism, and also about the regulation of voluntary activity. Particular attention is paid to the legal basis for the development of volunteerism in Russia. The article examines old and new bill “About Voluntary work”, as well as an analysis of these bills. As a result of analyzing and summarizing, some amendments were presented to a proposal of Federal law “About Voluntary work” in purpose to improve the regulatory framework.
