In the 21st century, science is integrated into all areas of social life. This contributes to the formation of a new type of rationality. Historical approach to the study of science has a special place. American historian and philosopher of science Thomas Kuhn brought to the fore a number of new issues that are relevant today. This paper analyzes the patterns of development of scientific knowledge in the context of Thomas Kuhn’s concept.
