Theoretical tools of modern religious studies allow us to analyze the structure of Protestant narrative and identify its regional characteristics, in particular due to philosophical and theological studies of these narratives. Analysis of narrative discourse as a specific religious activity extends the knowledge of the boundaries and nature of human experience. Study of Protestant narrative sources enables us to generalize, expand and highlight a range of issues related to the organization of the Protestant denominations, their communicative practices, confessional identity problems, etc. Thus, the problems of investigating religious texts, the language of religion and religious discourse are urgent and require constant attention of scientists in the context of dynamic changes in the contemporary religious environment. This article attempts to analyze certain concepts of Christian (Protestant) hermeneutics.
