MODERNIZATION OF THE TIMING OF TWO-STROKE AND FOUR-STROKE INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES OF DIESEL LOCOMOTIVES

This article presents materials on the development of perspective design of the timing of increased efficiency by increasing the bandwidth of valves and reduce thermal loading. The design of the valve is protected by the RF patent. All existing for today such device of internal combustion engines already do not meet modern requirements in terms of their design and operational reliability due to their work in the conditions of high temperatures of 8000С, which significantly affects the efficiency of diesel engines. As a result of the carried out calculations defined rational geometrical parameters of the specified valve and given technical and economic assessment in the case of its implementation in practice.
