ANTIBIOTIC DORIPENEM – NEW PROSPECT IN PNEUMONIA TREATMENT

The problem of pneumonia diagnostics and treatment in modern medical practice has not sputtered out yet. It is one of the major problems for the hospitalised patients with complications of bronho-pulmonary diseases. The given pathology takes a powerful place in structure of letality and is the frequent cause of death from infectious diseases.
Doripenem is a new antibiotic from carbapenems group, possessing a wide spectrum of antimicrobic activity as to the gramopositive and gramonegative aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, including polyresistant gramonegative microorganisms. The medicine has good shipping and high efficiency, it is possible to consider it as new progressive means which will shortly occupy one of the advanced places in treatment.
