Parkinson´s disease (PD) is a chronic progressive disease of the brain nigrostriatic neurons degeneration and abnormal function of the basal ganglia. For the first time the disease described the English neurologist James Parkinson in 1817 and called it « trembling palsy». In 1877 neurologist Charcot described the clinical manifestations of the disease. PD is one of the most common forms of primary chronic neurodegenerative diseases. According to modern concepts, PD, or primary idiopathic parkinsonism, is sporadic and family neurodegenerative multi-system disorder, with significant clinical polymorphism and variability of currents,pathogenetic and morphological heterogeneity, with good effects of dopaminergic therapy in relation to classical PDs motor disorders.
