THEORETICAL ASPECTS OF BILINGUALISM. NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL BILINGUALISM. TYPES OF BILINGUALISM.

This article is dedicated to the problem of bilingualism. The opinions of many Russian and foreign linguists are taken as the basis. Two types of bilingualism (coordinated type of bilingualism and subordinative (mixed) type of bilingualism) were described during the research. The differences between artificial bilingualism and natural bilingualism were weighed in. Also two varieties of types – child’s and adult’s bilingualism are described. During the research process it was decided, that it is logically to study natural bilingualism comparing it with artificial one. The ways of bilingualism origination and development are examined. We give the conditions, which as we think help to create a bilingual circumstances. As we think, this article will be useful for both students and university teachers of philological specialities.
