In this paper, we present studies to determine the optimal parameters of compositions of clay drilling mud based on bentonite clay orangescape field Investigations were carried out by mathematical modelling using rotatelog plan of the second order.. the Object of research were adopted clay orangescape field, polymer and water. On the basis of the results of the studies proposed composition of the drilling mud on clay-based, designed for drilling wells. The data obtained can be recommended in the drilling process for oil and gas fields.
