ANALISIS OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF PUBLIC POLICIES ON NATIONAL SECURITY IN RUSSIA

This article deals with the problem of ensuring the national security of the Russian Federation. The author considers the theoretical foundations of public administration in the area of national security. Also given specific characteristics of concepts "national security" and "state national security" and the types of threats to national security in times of crisis. Made a list of public agencies and legislative enactments to ensure national security. The author analyzes state policies and the efficiency of government agencies during external threats. An example for this analysis was the threat of the collapse of the Council for Mutual Economic Assistance and the Warsaw Pact. Considered the historical aspect of the situation and political strokes of parties of the conflict. This served the basis for identifying the pros and cons of public policy of the USSR. The author notes that national security is a priority issue for public policy at all times. Considered a historical example highlights how clear and precise the policy of national security.Exit Czechoslovakia from the Warsaw Pact would deprive this block strategically important state in the center of Europe. NATO would have been at the borders of the USSR. The "Operation Danube" gave the world several generations of Soviet children.
