As a result of the production activity of the enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the production of phosphate fertilizer enterprises have accumulated man-made waste in dumps, in excess of 50 million tons. In order to issue recommendations on the use of these wastes a comprehensive assessment of the environmental contamination by-products of phosphoric industry - slag, phosphogypsum, and overburdens is required. Environmental consequences of waste storage production are estimated by the economic damage caused by waste. Calculated the average rate of environmental pollution (FI) of industrial waste of phosphogypsum is 1.54. The main radioactive and chemical substances, polluting phosphogypsum are Sr, Cd, As, Mn, Ti. According to the RNC a conditional share of damage from the disposal of the chemical industry is taken, caused by water, soil and air. Reduction factor for the chemical industry is - 0.006. To calculate the total damage caused by contamination of environmental media (Y) and the integrated pollution damage of water resources soil and air (SW, yn, ya) are chosen constants kW, Kat, Kb, Kc. The annual total damage from pollution components of the environment as a result of placement in the storage of excess waste industry in Zhambyl region is determined. It is shown that the treatment of industrial waste is a promising direction to prevent the formation of new dumps and reduce the need for placement and equipment of new polygons of industrial waste companies of the phosphoric industry.
